Welcome to Bright Young Minds Tuition Centre

 At Bright Young Minds, our remedial lessons go far beyond regular extra classes. Each learner begins with a free academic diagnostic assessment to identify specific learning gaps and strengths in subjects like English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, and Physics. Based on the results, we create a personalised learning plan tailored to the child’s unique needs. Our 80-minute weekly sessions include a mix of written work, computer-based activities, and interactive learning, all designed to rebuild foundational skills, boost confidence, and close academic gaps. Progress is continuously monitored, with a formal reassessment after seven months to track improvement and adjust the learning plan as needed.

Our Aftercare Programme is designed to give learners the academic support they need to succeed while providing parents with complete peace of mind.

We offer a structured afternoon programme for Grade 4 12 learners, Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 17:30. During this time, learners complete their homework under the supervision of experienced tutors and receive assistance with:

• Daily homework
• Studying for tests and examinations
• Reading practice
• Oral presentations
• School projects and assignments
• General study skills and organisation

Unlike many aftercare centres where one supervisor is responsible for a large group of children, we maintain a maximum tutor-to-student ratio of just 1:10. This small group setting ensures that every learner receives individual attention and meaningful homework support instead of simply being supervised.

What truly makes our aftercare programme unique is that we include specialist remedial support in the monthly fee.

Every learner has access to our expertly designed remedial programmes in:

• Afrikaans
• English (Reading & Language)
• Mathematics

These are specialised remedial intervention programmes, not simply extra lessons. Each learner works through an individualised programme designed to identify and close learning gaps while building confidence and strengthening foundational skills. Our remedial programmes have been developed by educational specialists and are delivered by trained tutors who understand that every child learns differently.
